Description

This piece began with a reluctance to introduce black into the palette. But in allowing that contrast, something shifted. The darker tones didn’t diminish the work; they gave more pop to the color.

Built through layered marks and uncertain moments, the painting reflects the acceptance of what is. The parts we might resist or hold back often become the very elements that bring depth, connection, and meaning.
